    Hi all,
I'm looking at putting in a new driveway (about 150m2) and I was going to do gravel but then I came across resin bound gravel. I think it looks really good but I was wondering as to the cost and longevity of it? I got a quote from one operator at £40 (based up north) per m2, does anyone have experience with this?

Its something i want to fet as well however i have heard the longevity depends on depth of gravel and overall useage ir heavy vehicles. 40 is a good price in my view but id be worried about overall toughness. Some companies require a concrete base first which adds a lot of cost onto a project. Research is your best bet. Ring as many places as you can and defo inquire about thickness and required base works

I looked into this too briefly. I think it is a good option if you already have solid base - like worn concrete or similar. If you are stating from scratch then from what I've read a good tarred surface is cheaper.

40stg is e50 a metre, it would want to be long lasting! I got tarmac 50mm sma, @ e15 a metre 2yr ago. I'm sure it'll do 30yr no bother
