    Hey everybody,

bough myself a 2005 Renault Megane last year for €1,900. I've had nothing but trouble with it. I had a recent service that cost me €250. The brake lines beneath the car had been rusted and worn to the point of leaking. The front lights have no cover. There is a worrying vibration through the accelerator when hitting only 80km/hr.
Are they traditionally an unreliable car?

The Megane of that era has a lot of electrical troubles and the 1.5dvi engine have injector and high pressure pump issues. When you say the front lights have no cover do you just mean the plastic cover that goes on behind the bulbs that would be a cheap easy fix get replacements from a scrapyard.

I'd be very weary of the brakes as if a line leaks severely causing a loss of pressure in the system you'll be in serious trouble.
