    Folks,

Looking for some advise. I've all the floor finishes removed and have got the following quote from my builder. The area is approx 125 sq meters.

    - Remove and dispose of existing floors and insulation to original house area.
    - Install 50mm screed on 25mm polyiso insulation on 1200 gauge DPM
    - Install new screed to floor of extension to rear to match new levels (no insulation required - 25 sq meters approx)
    - Install new screed on 25mm polyiso insulation on DPM to main bedroom

    Sub Total 4,008.82
    VAT @ 13.5% 541.19
    Total €4,550.01

Does this cost seem reasonable? The original slab/sub floor will remain.

    Thanks in advance.

    D.

If you spent a bit more and you both comply, perhaps

without any areas for insulation and non insulation its a bit difficult to gauge.

    How is the radon barrier?

Why did you dig out what was there?
    What was there?

How did you arrive at 25 mm poly?
