I had 2004 Almera 1.5 petrol fail today on Lambda in the high idle , it was 0.68 , c0 11.93 ! HC 856 !, I'm pretty sure this is more than a cat issue, anyone advise on what to do ?

Start by having the OBD codes read. According to those figures it's running outrageously rich. There are a number of possible reasons for that - coolant temperature sensor, bad MAP/MAF, dead O2 sensor, etc.

Changed all the sensors and cat from donor car and it passed :-)
