Hi, what is the procedure again for closing Jobseeker's Payment when transferring to a Course.... I can't get my head around stuff in arrears. A Jobseeker's week starts on a Tuesday, so that's Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday. The Course week is Monday to Friday with Friday payment and the 1st week of Course is a week in arrears. Soooo how does it all work....

Do I get normal Jobseeker's Payment for the 1st week of the Course as per normal and that's my 1st Course week done, and then the 2nd week of the Course, I get 2 Jobseeker's days paid, ie: the last 2 days of my last Jobseeker's week Saturday and Monday, and then on the second Friday I get my 1st full week's pay of the Course?? Or how is it worked out...

Lets say your starting your course on Monday 18th...you should let your sw office know as soon as possible and you would get your jobseekers payment up to Saturday 16th. Unfortunately if the course is paid in arrears then there wont be any payment for the first week.
