Considering moving in with my bf. He is on Jobseeker's Allowance, however would anyone be able to calculate or point me in the direction of a calculator that wil show how much his dsp income would be when means tested against my income. It wouldn't be feasible to live together if his income is cut - I can hardly afford my own rent and living costs.

    Heres what they do.
If he were to claim for you and you had no income then he would get €312.
But you do have income so here how they look at your income.
First they allow you €20 per day up to 3 days per week.
Lets say your income after PRSI is 450 per week and your working 5 days per week, so 450-60= 390
Then they look at the 390 and they assess 60%
So, for you having €450 per week, they will assess only €234 as means.
They then subtract the means (€234) from the €312 ye would get if you weren't working.
His new Jobseekers Allowance payment will be €78.
THATS BASED ON YOU EARNING €450 A FIGURE I HAVE MADE UP JUST TO DEMONSTRATE HOW ITS DONE.

Ok think I get it ... I get 365 a week after tax, working 5 days so I'll try to do the maths!

It is not the after tax figure they take.see here http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/irish_social_welfare_system/means_test_for_social_welfare_payments/work_and_jobseekers_allowance.html

You can't deduct PAYE, only PRSI
It's your gross figure and subtract PRSI ONLY
