Hey I'm sorry if these are stupid questions or something,
but due to family conflict and all that jazz I ended up just applying for accommodation now, and the only one that actually let me go on their waiting list is Corrib.

So, I'm on the waiting list and they said after the offers I have the chance of a room, what's the chance overall? Is there a big chance or will I try to find digs instead?

And also, another thing they were vague on. They said on the 24th, the spaces will be first come first served, when I accept a room will I have to pay the first moitey at that time or will I pay it later?

    Any help would be appreciated!

There are other student complexes besides corrib; Atlantis, centrepoint, Menlo, dun aengus, to name a few.

Yeah, I know thanks, but as I said above, corrib was the only one that let me go on their waiting list!

Dunaras have'nt taken any bookings yet for next year. Their booking is opening at the end of this month so try there!

If you're on the waiting list for anywhere, you will almost certainly get a place in august. After the cao offers come out, loads of people give up their place in corrib, and indeed in all student villages. Happens every year, people either do better/worse than they expected and take a cao offer elsewhere.

Was in Corrib Myself two of the lads in my house where originally on waiting list. Probably wont have as good a room choice but you should get offered something. Single non en-suite rooms will probs all be gone
