Have a 12 year old suckler cow(out all winter)--calved about 6 weeks--no problem there-shes a heavy cow-say 800+ kg...took a wee bit lame after calving-when taking incalf to tag-be stoney pad,she hurt her leg-was running, like pulled up-she then limped more after that-being the same since--limping badly some days/other days.just a litle limp--foot is clean,no cuts/swelling.. injected her with penstrep/sprayed hoof also re precaution! taking them into yard again today(move to grass) and you can here at click/clog like noice when she walks/limps...any ideas what could be-around her hip/flax area-is a bit swollen... vet needed? and advice folks? cheers
