    Anyone ever get this problem?

It's like this the last couple weeks. Won't fast charge it just cable charges. Have fast charging turned on in settings etc

I have researched it online and it keeps telling to do a reboot etc but it's still not working..

A year other fixes to this I've gone through mostly everything I've seen to do.. changed USB cable also and still same. I bought the phone in Argos 6+ months ago but can't find the receipt..

Do I have a leg to stand on if I bring back to the Samsung shop as it still should be under warranty? I think it start acting like this since the new update I got for the phone a couple weeks ago.. then again it might not be that..

    So confused

Clean any fluff out from the USB port to see if that helps.

Maybe see what Argos say if that doesn't work, they have a company they send phones off to for repair but you'll need proof of payment. If you paid with a card get the statement with the transaction.

Whatever about the cable, have you tried another fast charging plug?

I know you said you made sure fast charging was turned on, but double check and reboot your phone.

Have you recently updated to Marshmallow?

Marshmallow allowed you to toggle fast charging on/off.

    Go to Settings:
    Scroll down to Battery,
Scroll down to see if fast charging is on/off,
    if not then enable it.

    Did you get sorted?

My S6 was like that, eventually got vodafone to replace it. Got a new phone in feb/March and same thing has started happening again!

I never got it sorted.. Actually going to a samsung shop tomorrow as now the phone is going blank screened on me everyday and not working at all properly.

Not even 6 months old out of Argos bit I have no receipt so I'm gonna chance my arm in Samsung shop if I have some sort of warranty?

Happened to mine after I plugged it into my laptop to swap files. Couldn't find any safely remove usb device option, so i just unplugged it. It stopped fast charging after that. Then the next time I plugged it into the laptop it didn't recognise it at all. Googled it up and seems to be a common problem. It started fast charging again by itself a few weeks later. I never bothered plugging it back into the laptop to see if it's recognised again.

Probably best heading to Samsung so. I've decided to hold off for the 6/7 weeks left in my contract and go back to the iPhone. Too much hassle with the phone

This started happeing to my phone as well after an update. Plugging it out and back in done the trick but I eventually got a cheap new car let and it works 100% all the time.

Argos have a company that they send phones back too, I went through Meteor and when I later brought phone back to Argos they were nearly going to wash their hands of it because I had previously gotten it fixed elsewhere.

EDIT: someone said in the S7 thread yesterday they went back to Argos and that they don't send phones for repair anymore and they got a new one. I'd go there before Samsung shop. You will need to show them proof of it not working properly I'd say.
