washing machine spin

    My washing machine seems to go through entire cycle .however clothes are still sopping when I open the door. I have to use spin program separately which works grand so doesn't seem like anything mechanical. It's a zanussi Zwn6120L. Googled and some suggest master reset ?

    if you are using a cotton programme it should finish fully spun out, if on a delicate cycle it may be on a rinse and hold or if the load is small it may be picking up on oob (out of balance) no harm either on checking the pump filter

    Tried with a few different cycles and full loads.Only realised today that rather than completely finishing the wash, it's stopping on pause (the drum door can be opened after being on pause for so long?).if pump filter problem then how come I can do a spin program on its own no bother? Will I try plugging out for a while?

    Doing so many tests I've run out of clothes to wash !!
