    Hi

I've recently moved to the country and have had three different Broadband companies out to check the signal and set us up but two have said the signal was too weak and the last one said there were trees blocking the signal to the mast. One was through a phone line (eircom) and the other two were wireless.
    I'm so gutted!!
I can pick 3g up on my phone in the house and it's fine but i really wanted broadband for netflix on our smart tv.
    Are there any other options?

    Where are you?
    Who have you tried? (Eir + ? + ?)
Have you checked the Ireland offline map?
    Who is your mobile with?

Assuming no FWA(from the map) providers can get line of sight to your house then 3 3G will be te best option as you can have all you can eat data for €20/mo though it may not be the fastest connection ever.

Really BB availability is something you check before you move, not having it is like moving to a pre-electrification Inis Boffin.

The two houses either side of me have it so I assumed it wouldn't be a problem!
I tried Eircom, Digiweb and Premier Broadband.

Can you give us an idea of where are you? It's hard these days without a location due to the myriad of fixed wirless providers operating at present.

Premier broadband Tipperary or Premier Laois/Offaly?

We shouldnt have to pull teeth for info, who are your neighbors with? Assuming its Premier/Digiweb-Metro and just you don't have LOS then all you'd have to do is erect a pole to gain said.

If the neighbors have eir or OpenEir reseller then you shouldn normally be eligible too. Reasons why individually you'd have an issue usually relate to poor cabling on the premises itself.
