April. And I am running out of ideas :p

Alrighty, so as many of you like vintage machinery, farm an area that has been worked for generations, been freshly bitten by the bug or simply upgraded to one owned by the neighbours ;), I'm going to go with a simple one.

''Something old*, something new, something borrowed, something blue.''

*I am not accepting selfies for the 'something old' part. :D:D

    Guidelines-

    • Photo must be your own image i.e. taken by you or a family member.
    • Photo should conform to this month's theme.
    • You may enter more than once (within reason though, not 100 photos please!)
    • No chat/banter on this thread please, it will be removed.
    • Even if the theme isn't strictly farming related, we would like to see the photos to have some tie to farming.
    • No naughty pictures please.
    • Final winners will be the photo with the most 'thanks' from a single photo which can be entered any month.

So there are lots of chances guys!

    Any questions/queries, please PM Kovu!

    January Winner- Nekarsulm- 33 thanks.
    February Winner- Reggie- 15 thanks.
    March Winner- blue5000- 15 thanks.
    April (&May) Winner - Brian - 25 thanks.
    2014 entries.
    2015 entries.

These seem to fit the description...
Came across these three guys working along the same short stretch of road (no more than 2km's appart) recently when on my travels abroad. Remarkable to see equipment generations apart all in active use for essentially the same task.

Interesting the guy in the second photo with what I would know as an "ironhorse" mechanised plough was working the hardest himself, the guy ploughing with the ox was doing ok but alot of manual work at the ends of the furrows to align the plough for the next pass.

Without exception the tractor was unusual enough to see and seemed to belong to a factory style farm as they had irrigation systems in place and the land was laid out well around a central yard with modern buildings.
