    A couple of months ago, I went to put in petrol in my car and it took forever. I thought it was the pump that was the problem but it is the car. Can take 10 mins to put in 10 euros worth of petrol! Any ideas on what the problem could be, as it is wrecking my head!!!

    You're probably pushing the nozzle in too far.
    Try putting only the tip in* so air inside the tank easily can escape.

    * you heard me

    No, it doesn't make any difference, whatever u do. Different people have tried. Just goes in so slowly and sometimes spits it back out at you

    Is there breather pipes in fuel tanks? Maybe it blocked (if there at all)

    Is it the same station all the time? Otherwise you've got a blockage in the pipe which is causing the back pressure.

    That's strange. What car is it?

    Try holding the handle upside down

    Some cars have a misfuel device built in to the fuel tank neck...On diesel cars anyway to prevent putting petrol in...not sure on the other way around..You will notice the FLAP has been activated as in the picture...just check this first..If the flap was activated it would take forever to put fuel in ?
