Just writing on behalf of (ahem) a friend...

OK, so let's say the friend has just escaped from Mountjoy. No qualifications, no money, no contacts in the area and obviously doesn't want too much attention.

How would this friend go about surviving on a short term and long term basis.

My first instinct....I mean his first instinct is to find an accommodating monastery. Any other suggestions to help my friend prosper in a world that finds it so hard to forgive.
