sensor replacement

    I have a Siemens alarm with Aritech sensors. The front door sensor (shock and contact) is causing a problem in that the alarm will not set sometimes. I have the engineer code, can I replace the sensor without triggering the alarm if I enter engineer mode? Thanks.

    Yes , once its in engineer mode the alarm will not activate.
