Troubleshooting a window shock sensor

    Hi Folks,

Got a window replaced and after putting back the shock sensor the alarm won't arm saying there is an open zone. It wasn't unwired so I'm thinking a wire might be broke.
Whats the best way tracing this as I have no wiring diagram for how this should go.
See the attached pic. The brown block is wired Black Red yellow blue and then a jumper between points 5 and 6. Two white wires coming from shock sensor going to what looks like points 3 and 6.
Can't take the block out at the moment as alarm will go off and kids in bed.
There also looks to be some thin piece of metal running the length of the block. Im assuming that is an opening contact which isnt used here.

    Cheers in advance

    Gar

The cylinder head must be horizontal and with the arrow point up.

Looking back at your first picture i can see that the contact is wired in the sensor. Basically, the magnet is missing from the door. It should line up with the side the black block is on the sensor.

if you can you can test continuity back to alarm cabinet - this will tell you if there is a broken wire or not.
