    Hi guys

I've never done a package deal before but I'm hoping to get away next month during term time. I've a budget of about 800-1,000e and want to go somewhere where it'll be about 20 degrees. I've been looking all day yesterday and today and can only find stuff for way over that price. So is it worth just waiting a few more weeks and booking a last minute thing?? What are the risks? Has anyone done it?

    Thanks!

    Ruth

€1000 including accomo, flights, transfers all on a package for I assume 4 people is pushing it alot, especially in may. In April you'd get it, but its fairly uncommon in may to get something so cheap.

    Have you searched Turkey?

And no, if its Spain and Portugal don't even try to wait for a last minute deal, these holidays are at the highest demand at the moment than they have been in years.

Midweek flights to faro with Ryanair, still good prices in May, transfers with greenbus.com & accommodation in albuferia. Can be done for €1000 all in.

take a look at skyscanner, put in everywhere as your destination and the whole month of may and it will give you a number of reasonable flight options.
Check these dates for accommodation with owners direct for self catering or trivago for hotels and you might be able to nab yourself a deal.

    Or what about this: http://www.holidayguru.ie/holidays/costa-brava-summer-holiday-3/

The algarve in Portugal- Dublin or knock to faro. Did it last couple years ago for 240 per person at the end of may, weather excellant, crowds not fully kicked in so quite nice.

The algarve in Portugal- Dublin or knock to faro.

Or Shannon, Or Cork, Or Kerry, Or Londonderry, Or Belfast International, Or Belfast City.

Basically any airport that can handle a Jet Aircraft, you have a service to Faro.

Some good deals to Faro from the regional airports if you are willing to travel. If you're bringing a few with you might be worth it.

Faro or Lisbon would be two good places to go, ericeria just outside Lisbon is a lovely seaside village. Lisbon itself is lovely ,

Beside faro you have the main places but somewhere like Oahu would be a good place too

    Not at all tbh.

Some great deals to be had sometimes on sites like Budget travel, that'd youd never get booking separate.

Ah yea some of them might be, & i usually do that myself, but this lad just throws up bargains he has found online.
I find him great, if for nothing else then a few ideas, he shows cheap flights etc some places ya might not think of.

He has an app as well, good for reference

They tend to be in total dives or have plenty of hidden charges
