Two for me at Lingers should be going off shorter, just got Hiorne Tower at 12's before it moved to 10's. Missed the 12's on Glastonberry but ill settle for 10's.

Crazy drift on the Nicholls bumper horse in Wincanton there.
7/2 out to 8/1 and wins.

    What happened there?

Didn't look too closely at the breeding or anything but Hemmings horses tend to be bred to be staying chasers so he could be a big boat of an animal and they didn't expect anything off him in a bumper and some of the speedier types were well supported.

Yeah, I take your point, but it was strange.

He looks really nicely bred - by Presenting (heard someone on the race-radio say he's closely related to Big Bucks)

Also, it wasn't a steady drift. The price just ballooned in the minutes before the off.
A few mins before the race I backed it on Betfair at 6.0(5/1). No sooner had I struck the bet but it was out to over 7. So I backed it again and got matched at 8.4
    Seconds later it was 9 ... 10...11
Backed it again at 11 and it kept going (went as high as 13 i think)

I was totally spooked by the drift though and traded out for pennies when his price came down a bit in running.
It was like word went out that he'd lost a leg in the parade ring.
