IKEA Alex 9 Drawer Unit

    Hi,

I have an IKEA Alex 9 drawer unit and the very bottom drawer won't shut properly as there is something stuck behind it, what is stuck behind it, I don't know.

Anyway I have tried to get the drawer out and can't. Inside the drawers there are two small screws near the front of the drawer and by taking out those screw the drawer normally comes out, this doesn't happen with the bottom drawer. I took the front screws out and now only one will screw back into place.

Does anyone have any idea how I can get it out?

I wasn't sure what forum to post this in so I've posted it here, if I have posted in the wrong section, I apologise!

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Did you get sorted on this?

Don't worry too much about the screws inside the drawer. I dont have them screwed in. The drawer slides all the way out.

Remove the drawer entirely and the one above it.

Check the rail system. Its a two part system. Outer rail is screwed into edge of cabinet.

There may be a loose screw towards the rear that's preventing the inner rail from sliding all the way along the outer rail.
