The Voice of Ireland Live knock-out stages continue tomorrow night, but tonight coach Rachel Stevens talks to Ray D'Arcy about her work on the hit show and recalls her halcyon days on the road as one of the UK's best-known pop stars with S Club 7.

Also on Saturday night's Ray D';Arcy Show, Lord Henry Mountcharles talks about his plans for Slane Castle, his recent health battles, and his encounters with some of the biggest names in music over the years, from the Rolling Stones to Bruce Springsteen to U2.

Marking the start of Organ Donor Awareness week, RTÉ broadcaster and Organ Donor Awareness ambassador Vivienne Traynor and her nephew Martin Traynor will share their story.
Another guest tonight is Brian O'Sullivan, who featured in a viral video performing a tribute in a Killorglin bar after his friend's funeral last week.

Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simeone and Flavia Cacace-Mistry will also be in studio to show Ray some of their dance moves.

The Ray D'Arcy Show airs on RTÉ One at 9.45pm.

Ray really does have zero enthusiasm. He just seems like he is going through the motions every week,

Alan Carr applied for 'The Voice'?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

The Voice doesn't produce stars around these parts.

The 2015 BBC winner has gone back to being a fireman.

Ray never seems interested in who he is interviewing and instead to me he always seems to be trying to have a cheap shot at people?

    Leave her alone, Darcy.

She had a decent solo career. Longer than most.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74,322 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Talk about Captain Buzzkill!

Your solo career started well, but then it CRASHED AND BURNED BIG TIME.

Could have been a genuinely funny and entertaining moment.

Then we remember, it's 'The Ray D'Arcy Show'.

That was such a dull non researched interview.

So Rachel you were in a band (10 minutes)
So Rachel you are now on the Voice (5 minutes)
So Rachel you married your boyfriend (3 minutes)

I feel like I learnt so much from that.
