I tried finding something in the Samsung S6 thread but there's over 1,000 posts in there and even with the search function I couldn't find help.

Pretty sure it's a common enough problem as I've seen about it online but not found any answers.

My phone constantly thinks it's connected to the Gear VR headset even though I don't own one. The screen goes black with a little white cross in the corner and I can't get rid of it. The phone becomes unusable. The only way to get rid of it is to connect it to a charger but it's happening 20-30 times a day and obviously I'm not always around a charger. Even resetting it doesn't work. Sometimes I can mash all the buttons over and over until it spazzes out and comes back to life - sometimes that doesn't work though.

Anybody else experiencing this issue have any ideas what to do??
