    Hi,

I know I'm a bit early but I'd like to book some flights for the weekend of Oct 28th to Salzburg or alternatively somewhere scenic in Italy, perhaps Verona but none are showing any availability right now. Does anyone know when Oct & Nov flights will become available on the Ryanair website? Do they have a fixed schedule for making flights available e.g. 6 months out?

    Cheers.

Ryanair flights from Dublin to Salzburg are seasonal. Flights to there start from 17 December 2016.
Ryanair don't fly from Dublin to Verona (Aer Lingus do).

Ah cr@p, well that knocks Salzburg on the head then. Was hoping to bring the kids there for a long weekend over mid term as I've been there a couple of times with work and think it's an amazing place. Thanks for the info VG31, appreciate it.

So somewhere nice in Italy it is then.

In general, when do flights on the Ryanair site become available? Does it depend on the destination or is it random/dependant on lot's of factors?

You could fly to Vienna with Aer Lingus and get the train direct from the airport to Salzburg. It takes about 2.5 hours and is quite reasonable.

Another option which could work out cheaper is to fly to Salzburg Airport with Lufthansa via Frankfurt. It costs about €190-€200 return around the dates you are suggesting.

You can book up to one year in advance.

No not really, Ryanair release their schedules slowly usually, but for the whole season when they do. Most of the winter 2016/17 schedules are released now, but it took a good 2 months
