Exam hall seating

Hello. I'll be sitting my leaving this year. I was wondering if teachers in the school arrange the seating plan or if it goes In order of exam number. Basically, I would like to be nearer the door, which is beside the toilets, because of a side effect of medication (you can put 2 and 2 together). Would I be able to ask the appropriate person in school to put my exam number closer to the door, or is there a lot more hastle involved than that?

You can ask your school's exam secretary to tell the Superintendent.

Would you be more comfortable in a centre by yourself? That could be arranged. Tell the exam secretary early and get a letter from your doctor and they can apply to Reasonable Accommodations.

Thank you for the response. Should I tell the exam secretary as soon as possible or wait closer to the exams? Would it take much hassle to change my seat?

I would be more comfortable in the exam hall as long as it's not too far away from the door.

Well you could be a disruption to other students. I would apply for reasonable accommodations and get your own centre then you are not affecting other people.

Tell them as soon as possible that it may be an issue, so they can get on to Reasonable Accommodations.

As mtoutlemonde said, if you are going to be a distraction to others it's better you get your own centre. If there's just a small chance that the medication might affect you, you should be OK in the main hall close to an exit, but if you know you will definitely need to leave more than once, I'd try for your own centre.
