Hi we r planning to build porch in front of our house. So just for suggestion. If the porch is well insulated build do you advice to still keep the second door or break it and make more space in hallway.

    thanks

It all depends on what you want to use the space for. Do,you want extra space as an entrance hall or to use the porch as a draught lobby to separate the main house from the entrance space.

Me personally, I'd be inclined to remove the existing door and increase the hall space but you will want to make sure the new build is built up to a high standard in order to limit heat loss.

thanks Kceire, who doesn't love extra space. But in doubt some people said its drafty and cold if made bigger.
