Just moved into a new house and have a god awful solid plate job, with no markings on the knobs, anyone any clue which way I turn for high?!

    Is clockwise 1 or 6?

    Clockwise to increase temp.
    0 is usually at 12 o'clock position.

Turns out that High is the first turn to the right, clockwise, finally got my pasta cooked after much trial and error! Lol.
