I was playing around with some long exposures over the weekend.

This was 65 seconds at f8, Fomapan 200.

Whomever said that scans never do slide films justice was bang on.... the physical slide is that much crisper and cleaner. Especially when the lab puts out 500kB JPEGs

I had my first developing disaster the other day. I accidently opened the tank that already had two rolls loaded in it, it was open a fraction of a second before I noticed and closed it up again. I was sure the film was ruined but went ahead and developed, the roll on top was completely gone but by some kind of miracle the roll on the bottom of the tank still had images.

Oh, snap :-) How do you like it ? I'm not a huge fan. Definitely not a 400 speed film, midtones are flat as a pancake, and it has the weirdest response curve. Good unfiltered for soft portraits though.

Yeah, I’ve read that a lot of people rate it slower than 400? I like the price most of all, I’m still learning so cheap film is a big plus. Haven’t used the 400 much, have been mostly shooting the 100 Classic.
