Underfloor heating - smart controls

    I am just renovating a property and up to recently I had planned radiators and a smart thermostat system to control on phone etc. Now I have decided that I'm doing so much work I'm in a position to install underfloor heating. So my question is if a smart control system is pointless with underfloor heating? Like it will be on most of the time I imagine. Anyone have any experience or knowledge? Thanks

    Pretty much yes. If you have programmable room stats for each zone or a few zones and these are set up properly then there's no need. It's the very same with a radiator system except rads have a quicker heat up time. Remotely controlling your heating is a good idea if you're staying in the house maybe one day a week and youre not certain what day youre gonna be home
