    Hey guys

I am really sorry to post such stupid questions but I feel like crying

I am applying for a job at the moment and the application form is quite intense it is around 8 pages long, and there is a lot of give an example when you showed this or when you were able to do that, and able to work part of a team and under pressure etc

How can I sell myself well. I just am ****e at it. I have a lot of experience but so rubbish at writing it down and giving example and I want to make sure I put the right examples in right areas. I am panicking now any advice welcome.

    A suggested approach -
First don't be put off by the length of the app form as everyone, almost, hates filling them out.
Write out on an A4 pad the list of questions that you have to answer - I mean those of which you gave an example. Next make a first try at answering each, one at a time. Even where you don't have a good example where you were part of team for instance write down something. Try to write one or two answers for each question. Next leave it, say, overnight and try again to finish the following day. A lot of friends I spoke with had difficulties remembering specific examples of teamwork, influencing, change processes etc. If the worst comes to the worst, make it up but in such a case be sensible.
Try also Googling 'Competency based interviews/interview questions'

For the examples you've to do, try to structure your answer in three parts.
    1. Setup: What was the problem, project, task you were working on.
    2. What you did: Start with some bullet points, you can flesh them out after.
    3. Outcome: Was the problem solved, process improved, what you learned, etc.
