Quick one - Thinking of ideas to get more players playing in our Society and some of the younger members said a DD would be good to help to fund the year. Say €25 a month and pays for the whole years event

Another one is taking payments on-line so people can pay via there debit card

Has anyone implemented these ideas or others?

    Thanks

We give folk the choice of DD on a monthly or fortnightly basis, they can also pay a lump sum in January, this is their society sub and then they pay the applicable green fees for when they attend

We started a subscription payment in our work society last year and it was the best thing we've ever done. We are getting 90 -95% turnout at every outing. We pay 15 euro every fortnight and that covers all the green fees and prizes.

We had a good deal of cash left over at the end of the year as there are no outgoings from Nov - Feb so we're able to play better courses this year.

Our Captains prize is an overnight trip which is fully covered also.
