Planes buzzing around south Dublin

Really low and fast.. single prop (Pilatus PC-9M)plus a large army twin x prop (CASA CN235)... Guessing from http://www.military.ie/air-corps/fleet/ I'm guessing practice for 1916 something or other... Fantastic sound out of them...

Normally on easter sunday they do a few circuits just south of 3 rock mountain. All in formation. Then they zoom in to the city for the flybye.
If that is where you are seeing them then this will be their practice run.

There's one dark single-engine aircraft (looks not unlike the Cessna from that Air Corps link) doing laps around and around over D4 at the moment - s/he's approaching for about the sixth or seventh time now.

There's a twin-engined plane circling low over Central Dublin too: looks to me like that CASA CN-235 from the Air Corps.

That's definitely not the one I'm seeing over D4.

Helicopter just went out SE towards the coast now as well.

That looks like one I saw this afternoon. Caught my eye because it looked unusual and flying really low.

Easter commemorations is the most likely explanation.

There's a few conspiracy nut jobs that post regularly on the Irish Times Facebook page.

Looking at some of their profiles, they're convinced it's agenda 21 / nwo / rotchilds / chemtrails spraying (delete conspiracy theory not applicable) and taking over the "sheeple".

I'm going to go out on a limb to say it's a few lads practicing for a fly over parade in Dublin on Easter Sunday.
