What's the opinions on the ride SWC gave Long run yesterday and his ban? Only watched it there for the first time and found it very harsh,horse clearly empty and not what he once was(subsequently retired after the race) and what's the point flogging him for the sake of it? He had some engine in his time,not the best jumper…

He had some engine in his time,not the best jumper in the world and i personally never really warmed to him but no doubting at his best he was a bit of a beast,hopefully has a long and happy retirement.

If he was empty then SWC shouldn't have started riding again in the closing stages.
