Water pump problems

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with "Techflow" water pumps (image attached) ? Pump recently starts up (even when filling glass of water from tap) and the only way I can stop it is to unplug it .. the pump can be very hot at times as well from the long running. Cheers Jack.

Faulty or incorrectly set pressure switch stopping the pump from shutting off and the constant running of the motor is causing the pump body to over heat
