    Hi

I became self employed in Feb 2015.I have registered as being self employed with revenue.

I have yet to file for any income tax and just wanted to know if i could start doing my return for financial year of 2015 now or do i need to wait closer to the deadline day on October 31 ?

I am planning to my self assessment online through the ROS filing system, thanks in advance.

You can file your return now on ROS if you like. You can still set 10 November (see here) as the payment date for any liabilities or preliminary tax 2016 that may arise.

Do you know how to do accounts?

Are you familiar with the commencement rules for sole traders?

Are you aware that you don't have to file the return until the October following the second year of assessment.

Go and talk to an accountant.
