Limestone floor in Kitchen

Has anyone laid limestone in their kitchen and are they happy with it?

    Is there much maintenance needed?

Also any advice on whether to wax it or not? There seems to be a lot of different opinions out there on that topic?

    Thanks

Limestone is porous so you would need to seal it , I have seen it used for worktops and it stained easily

    Thanks Tabby,

Yes the plan is to seal it (twice to begin with and then yearly) and wax it although we're not sure about waxing.....

I was wondering if anyone had waxed before too and how that worked out and if it impacted the colour of the stone.....
