I've a Mondeo '08, 290k km. Was looking to trade in for a berlingo, they are offering a new 161, 13k cash plus Mondeo. What u think?

How much is the Berlingo on its own? I've just seen a 161 for under 13k

You need to price the same from another dealer otherwise you have no comparison to know if you're getting a good deal. Also does the 13k inclusive of VAT presuming the Berlingo is a commercial?

that doesn't sound bad tbh. unless you can get a load of discount off for buying the van straight.

Any reason you're looking at a Berlingo over a Transit Courier/Connect?

You would probably get a much better trade-in. Although it does sound like a good deal on the Berlingo.

    Thanks for the replies.

3 seats in the front and the fact one can fold.
    Remote locking. Bluetooth. Cruise control.
It's registered and ready to go.

so it's a demo model? registered to the garage like?
how do the extras add 4k to the base price?

ok. It must be an LX model.
Bolands have €3500 off demo model LX
    €16k with vat.

can you get more than 3k for the mondeo selling privately? id say so.
