I thought this might be useful to some people, as I have been using it for more than a year to keep my RidewithGPS up to date.
You can see the various apps it cover on its front page. You could use it to "move" to a listed app or just to have your data on a few, if you are a statswhore, like me.

My current set up is as follows.
Garmin edge> Goes up to Garmin connect, which is "connected" to Strava and automatically updates Strava.

I then use https://tapiriik.com to go from Strava to RidewithGPS as it carries over the ride names etc.

It's quite simple to use too but be careful! You want the one currently holding your data to be selected first (So it is on the left)

You want the one your data is going to next, and on the right. It is important to make sure this is only "receiving" data by making sure it is not reverse updating the other one, by setting the options and "unticking" the "send data to" box

I hope that makes sense, so far.

Then using the "cog" on the "Update swirly arrow" yoke, you can insert a Date "From" Mine is Currently "14 Mar 2016"

Obviously as mine is up to date I change that weekly so as it is not reading "old" data in Strava even though it never overwrites stuff it has copied across.

That's it really. It's very slow but it works and I have had no security issues or anything strange with it at all.

It would be quite handy if you had a lot of data on Garmin and have started using Strava or a similar scenario with other apps.

Maybe you'd like to go from Strava to Endomondo! Or Strava to Garmin?

I'm thinking it might be more useful to people who've moved to Strava but have a lot of older data on Garmin etc.
