    It's a good idea once people remember that disabled doesn't mean only wheelchairs.

    It's only for when the correct blue badge isn't being displayed, which I think is great. I wish the same could be done in general, particularly in shopping centres, but that's a whole other issue.

    To be fair, valid blue badge holders have nothing to worry about here.

    It doesn't mean just wheelchairs, but if you are allowed to park in it you'll have the badge

    Shopping centre disabled spaces are a courtesy extended by the centre. No basis in law. Would be a waste of a text message. No rules are being broken.

    Although I fully agree you'd want to be a cnut to park in one.
