Not particularly, no. But tomorrow's another day and the sun will probably be out again so there's always hope!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Today? No. I had no sleep so basically kept myself alive on coffee. Problem being I don't drink coffee so having double shots x3 and triple shot x1 = I am currently in the throes of what feels like a panic attack but I'm just missing the part I need to panic over. I would say I'm very disgruntled

I'm currently nursing the worst flu I've had in around 20 years, so no. Live on my own and even the cat is spending all her time in the other room. So I have an extreme case of feeling sorry for myself :-)

Yes I am. Not ecstatically happy, and there are improvements to be made - but content and comfortable. I'm lucky.

not too bad. work tomorrow then four day weekend

Well, I would really like someone in my life now, especially the fact I'm approaching 30, and have been single for quite a while. This is something I often think about, but not necessarily because of my age. Even being rejected after only a couple of dates recently got me down, admittedly. And, it's something that really shouldn't have. Unfortunately, I am the sort that lets things get in on me, and, at my age, perhaps I shouldn't.

In my current role, at the moment, there isn't much scope for career progression. Although the people I work with are great, and the work itself is grand, but I need to progress further in my field. Having had several interviews recently, I haven't had much success. But, finding a job is achievable. Being able to progress and be on a better salary would certainly make me happier.

I want to make changes in my life in the next few months, such as becoming a bit more sociable. I'm not anti-social, but I wouldn't be out every weekend and could be better at keeping in touch with others. I hope to join some groups or clubs, just to be able to meet more people. But, also to be able to take part in more hobbies.

To answer the OP's question, overall I'm happy. On a scale of 1 to 10, I don't know where I'd rate myself. However, I could be happier. Achieving all of the above would certainly make me a lot more happy. I do have a good bit on my plate, but most of the things I shouldn't be so het up over.

In general I'd say I'm the happiest I've ever been. Even my low days aren't as low as they used to be and they only last for a few days and not weeks or months.

I'm not happy at the moment, my son is out of sorts and we're worried about him. On the plus side he has his first adult tooth, hasn't lost and baby teeth yet though. My baby has her second tooth. It's all teeth in this house at the moment :)

I'm eating cheese and listening to Richard Marx, no beer til Sunday and I'll have to work all night the night before and fly on a plane so I'll probably get rubbered and punch a police horse and miss my flight home again.

    Couldn't be better.

If ur workmates are great, I'd personally advise against moving job just for the idea of achievement.

It would be better if you were able to take on more responsibility/ projects or whatever in ur current place - maybe try that first, talk to your superior.

A new job, is a big risk in the world of happiness, unless you derive most happiness from work activities.

re the other stuff, clubs etc, great idea. it's through work, friends or clubs most people meet their life partner.

no, usually when a lad trashes a hotel room and claims he doesn't know why he did it he was drunk...its a lady boy incident from what I've observed...pretty common scene over there.but a dead give away...

In general yes I am. At least I have f#ck all to complain about. I am fairly happily married. Beautiful daughter and another child on the way. decent job nothing wow but decent pay and nice work mates. Not in debt or have any loans. Pretty good health too.
I would say about 6/7 out of 10.

I'm was a 6 out of 10. Resigned from my job last week as I correctly felt undervalued by the company and now feel like a 9 and heading towards the dole queue.

That's the official definition of hell, sober at a Karaoke bar.

You have not been to hell on earth until you have been made listen to

I am probably a 4/10 at the moment. Earlier today would have been a 2.

I feel stuck. I can't start to live the life I want until my son goes to college in September and in the meantime I have to put up with so much crap that it just makes me want to not live really. (Don't worry have no suicidal tendencies, I just sometimes wish I wouldn't wake up in the morning.)

Tomorrow probably won't be any better but someday....someday it will be.

About a 2 out of 10 at the moment. Big financial trouble and I'm the only earner in the house and getting married soon. On the plus side, I had a great bowl of Frosties for breakfast.
