Looking to see if anyone has had the need for these and found some better than others. Like a lot of people need to get extra locks for the van, either built in slam locks or surface dead bolts for a Primastar

Also have to get the OEM internal back door lock replaced as they managed to knacker it when breaking the handle.

Looking into the same myself. Thankfully no damage to the doors. Need an alarm as well, i was told clifford alarms are good but expensive. 5k of tools gone.

Ended up getting Viro surface lock which can be setup as a slam lock on one van and will most likely get handle integrated slam locks for the other one.

Regarding alarms I would suggest you search adverts for Dave Robinson, VERY reasonable and did a great job and a very nice bloke to deal with.

As an extra you may want to get a small job box from allsafe.ie in Duleek. They do a nice size for the Primastar size van for €240+vat

IF they are still determined to get your tools after that you may as well throw your hat at it.

As always its only when it happens you realise the extent of the problem around Dublin. By all accounts they are not just doing vans but jeeps etc, anything that looks like it would have tools.
