Thinking of buying a 2140 going to look at one on Wednesday ... just wondering are there any things I should be looking out for and are they a good tractor overall? Any feedback from owners would be great ... will be used as diet feeder tractor and mow a bit of silage in the summer

    Thanks

Not an owner, but look for brake filings in the hydraulic oil, maybe re-post in motors section?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

They are a Pocket rocket. Issue of brakes being worn and then they contaminated the back end. But most modern tractors would be the same.
A lot of them were putting out 90hp on PTO when new. They were meant to be 81hp on engine.
