But not before they got away with $80 Million from Bangladesh central bank, one of the biggest ever. A fifth payout of $20 Million was on it's way to a Sri Lankin non profit but the size of payment and mostly wrong spelling of the word "Foundation", they spelt it "Fandation", raised eyebrows.

For anyone who ever says good spelling is not important provided people understand what you say... :)

Dozens of Russian banks Phished by crooks pretending to be FinCERT

FinCERT is the security arm of Russias Central Bank, these clever bad lads registered the fake Fincert.net, learned what an official proper security alert from FinCERT should look like (they're not public), then they sent out an Email Campaign Form from [info at fincert.net] that downloaded a legitimate remote administration tool that was "signed" by Comodo just hours earlier and then went and sent it to a select few AT Lunch time to increase chances of success (getting a click).

    Great bit of work there.

But they went all out the next day and sent it to hundreds of Banks but had spelt "compromise" wrong and it was picked up.

No word if their was any victims but no doubt their was.
