Yellow Engine emissions light popped up during the week. I noticed on a short trip (2hour round trip) that the temperature gauge was dropping slightly between 90 and say 80 degrees. Never went over 90. I have one of these plug in adaptors and app on my phone. I e attached the screenshot. Can anyone shed some light on it and if so is it something I need fixed?

    Car is 07 Jetta 1.6

    Thanks

85 degrees is a good running temperature for a car.

The O2 sensor heater circuit is bad though. Either the sensor is bad or the wiring is broken or loose. It wouldn't affect the temp gauge though.

Any idea what this would affect? Or what kind of issues this would cause? Is there any issue driving? Just to have an idea when going to mechanic etc

    Thanks for swift reply
