swelled navel

    Hi lads I've a r wk old calf here with a swelled navel, vet came 2 half weeks ago an told me to give 5x gentaject 5x dexameth and 5 x betamox .
    done that for a week an the calf seemed fine.
    I'm here looking at him here an he's back being stiff again an his navel is back hard again is there anything I can do clean straw etc an fresh water being given...any help would be a great help to me lab man

    Two 5cc nurflor two days apart and let him alone for two weeks ! Stiffness may just be build up of fluid at the joints ! Let him out if at all possible the run around gets the fluid moving

    I'm just after giving the 3 inj there again would it be too soon to give the neuflor in the morning

    Talk to your vet. Best person to be give you advice about what antibiotics to use. You could try bathing the navel with warm water. Old-fashioned but useful.
