I want to do an evening welding course in Ballyfermot that starts in April, but I'm not unemployed; am I allowed to attend? I'd be ok with paying a few quid.

I've tried emailing them, but their email address barecruitment@fas.ie (and barecruitment@solas.ie) both bounce back.

I think you can. I knew someone who done an evening course and they weren't getting any benefits or jobseekers allowance.

I got a mail back from a different FAS/Solas office whose email didn't bounce, and they didn't mention it being an issue (I mentioned I was working).

They gave me a number, not there at 5:35, but I'll call tomorrow morning and see what's up.
