IKEA Installed Kitchen Appliances Not Working

Hey, does anyone here know what the story is with IKEA Kitchen Installations not actually installing the appliances that they supply?

I've bought a kitchen from IKEA and also went with their official installation service but all they ended up doing was just assemble the units. So there is a bit of an issue.
No appliances were connected so got a bit of a nasty surprise when trying to fire up the oven. Had to get my own RGI contractor to connect up the gas hob. Now trying to get an electrician to connect the other appliances. The microwave and oven just have cables coming out of them and no plugs, the dishwasher has been bolted in from what I can tell and I can't see any electrical cables or plugs for it anywhere. At least the extractor hood has a standard plug and that just plugged in to a socket. The response I got from the installers was that they are not going to connect anything, the response from the office was that the installers are going to connect everything. Very confused and furious about this as the price they are asking for their installation service is nothing short of exorbitant (2k eur).

Anyone had similar experiences? Is it case of false advertising when ordering the kitchen or bad faith contracts with cryptic small print clauses (couldn't find much in the contract copy they gave me)? Should I be taking a solicitor along with me every time when buying anything from IKEA?
