2006 Hyundia Accent Problem

Hi. I've got 2006 old shape hyundia accent. When I start it up. There is a rattle coming out of the engine. Sound like the tappets. But it only happens mabe 1 out 10 time when cold and it be gone after a few seconds. Tryed change the oil. But no good. Any idea for me to look into. Thanks Pat

Hi.

It soulss like the oil is slow to get to the top of the engine. The oil ways are possibly clogged up with sludge etc try flushing the engine a few times and put new oil in again and see if it helps any.
