Greens in kilcock are a joy to putt on. And they have them fast for the scratch cups. Think they were running at around 12 last year which is PGA tour quick

I played the JSC in Delgany last year and the greens were a disgrace and should never have been played during an open competition they were so heavily sanded. I lodged a complaint with the club after as there was no forewarning of the state of the greens and no discount offered. I subsequently heard the course we're offering a green fee in liu of the JSC entry fee but I never received this formally.

Delgany is a fine golf course, very tree lined with some serious evalatuation changes and probably a tougher test than Kilcock overall. That said Kilcock is no pushover and the greens will test your metal. They're both relatively short but possibly Delgany more memorable.

Its a been a while since I played Kilcock and a good, good, good while since I played Delgany.

Delgany used to be a fine track, but from the above, it seems they have let themselves slip.

My memory of Kilcock was that it wasn't really up to much as a golf course

A few nice holes but a lot are very average. A lot of upturned saucers for greens as I recall.
