Hi, I got an outdoor tap installed a few weeks ago.

Used it today and for the first few seconds the water came out with a yellowish brownish colour.

Is this normal. The guy used a tap with the copper pipe connected.

I thought copper does not rust,so why would the water be yellow for the first few seconds?

Could've been anything. If it's clear now you can relax
