This is a theoretical about general principles.

I marry Miss A. We have 2 children. We get divorced. All financial arrangements are properly nailed down.

I then marry Miss B. We have children.

I now have obligations to the children of my second marriage. How will the Irish courts view the inevitable financial conflict between my financial responsibilities to the children of my two marriages ? Are the divorce arrangements capable of readjustment to cater for my financial responsibilities to my second set of children ? I take it that there is never really a "clean cut" divorce ?
