Short term contracts

Hi folks. I left my job before Christmas for mental health reasons, and have decided to take this opportunity to travel for a month (August) and then go back to college in September. So, I'm looking for something just to keep me occupied from now until the end of July.

Does anyone know of a good option for a short term contract? I worked as a TCO before and I would have applied for that but I didn't realise it opened so early. Is it dishonest to apply for a job and then leave after 4 months?

No, but it's dishonest to take a job based on you staying for more than 4 months.

I used to sign up for temp work. Low stress, always a light at the end of the tunnel, varied work, learned a lot. See if there's an agency near you. Sign up for all of the agencies near you. If you do well and make a good rep for yourself, those agencies may well like you when you graduate.
